Reason for Recall:
Now you must want to know the reason why once the world’s best-selling drug now has been recalled!
And it becomes even more important to know if you or your loved one has been consuming this drug on a regular basis.
The whole recall process begins when a small online pharmaceutical company, Valisure, during their regular check discovered high levels of the suspected cancer agent N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) when the medicine is exposed to a certain level of heat or temperature.
However, NDMA is found in many everyday materials like water, meats, dairy products, and vegetables but in less quantity.
And On September 9, 2019, Valisure provided all the research and information gathered to FDA (Food and Drug Administration), requesting a recall on Zantac.
Finally, In April 2020, The FDA announced to withdraw all prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) ranitidine drugs in the market immediately from all manufacturers & companies.
